Question: Anybody out there managed to get past the guy called Hovis in the "space race"? I can't get past this, having advanced to level 10!!

Don't you mean 'Freespace 2: collosus'? My grandma has the game (came with her comp,) but I've never actually got around to playing it. Heard it's great, though :)

make sure you go superfast...as in ctrl+w

and it was even playable on my meager duron 700mhz

Yes I did that but could not control the ship through the tight turns on the back half of the course!!! I wonder if clicking on the waypoints might make it go through, at speed? But to click on the waypoints at that speed takes some concentration!!

No Freelancer is the game elbaz ;)

If you mean at the waypoints, spurious, I will try it.

Naw - had him beat and got bumped off the course - three times!

i always start of behind him, but in the end he seems to slow down slightly...if don't make any mistakes you should be able to beat him then...

OK I'll let you know how I get on before blowing a fuse!!!!

Well, new day, new challenge - and I got past the idiotic sequence at the first attempt!! I wish when people make these "never ending" games they don't put such stupid sequences in to spoil what is a brilliant game. Microsoft, if your reading this, take the stoooopid sequence out! Thanks people for the help and "encouragement"...............
