Is it worth it to go with the 20gb Ipod just to get the dock? I'm thinking about getting the $300 10gb Ipod because I doubt I'd ever fill up more than that much space.

What does the dock do?

For almost anyone 10GB is enough space to store all your songs and more. The dock is a stand for the iPod that will recharge the iPod's batteries while the iPod is resting in the dock. You can plug speakers into the base of the dock also. Here is a picture:

i dont know i want a bigger hd than that i have 40 gigs of music it would be kinda cool to have all of that

There are 40GB hard drives on the upper level iPods.
