Our leaders don't do anything against corrupt Clinton because it would implicate Bush as well. I won't defend Jefferson, but the tactics used by the justice department to get him were unconstitutional. Clinton served out his term because no one really cared he lied about an affair. Berger is a non-story. Barney Franks is still serving because he also did nothing wrong.
All these presidents are after money. Heck, almost every politician. They get elected to enact new laws that benefit em, then get a better job in a corporation to use the laws they passed to their advantage. We have corporate presidents interested only in big business, so it matters not where the money comes from, whether the U.S. or some other country such as China. Besides, if shit ever hits the fan in the U.S., they're rich and can move somewhere else to live in their corporate castles, plundering the next country.
