Street Fighter - Ryu
Mortal kombat - Sub-Zero
Rival Schools - Sakura

I never could get into Tekken or Mortal Kombat too much. Although I did like to play Tina and Paul. As for MK I could get by with Subzero and Scorpion. But all the crazy sequences were a hassle if you didn't play it all the time, unlike streetfighter and DOA where you only needed to remember a few moves at once. And Ryu is good too, I play him mostly for StreetFighterIII. Unless I am too overpowered, in which case I'll play Ibuki.

oh, forgot about MK.

In that case, I would have to say Baraka from MK2 and Stryker from MK3. I can't remember his name, but he is the blind guy from Deadly Alliance. My other fav Teken character is Bruce, the kickboxer from T2. He is wicked under-rated, I'm ashamed that he isn't a charater in any other games. oh, the combo throws that King has aren't used to often either.

Just an FYI, I only play Soul Caliber and DOA for the exellent jiggle physics. StreetFighterIII remains the best fighter I know.

Only reason I ever played MK was because I got it with my Game Gear, and with scorpion or even sub-zero you could easily finish that game. I guess as a child instead of looking for a decent challenge I looked for an easy win. I sucked as a child.
