Couldn't find any discussions about this here and wasn't even sure whether or not this should be here or in the politics arena, but either way......

Do you notice how the $30-$40,000 (and beyond) a year jobs are the most talked about? Go to any career finder site and you'll find more professional and/or high-paying positions than an opening for an $8/hr sales associate at H&M or the Gap. Because it is possible to make a living at, say, Citibank or Metlife, rather than H&M and the Gap.

And then on a separate but very similiar issue, this being completely directed towards males...

Do you notice how the average age of women looking for men on a personals website is 25 and above? And the average age of men that they look for is 25 and above, but in most cases, many want them much older than they are. Because it's a stereotype. There's young men out there in person and on these kind of sites, who are in the 19-24 age range and are very mature for their age and, in many cases, look a few years older than they are. However their physical status is what keeps them caged because women and even people in general won't accept them as who they really are. They're just the average young guy or teen to them who can't handle an older woman and probably knows nothing about safe sex, fantasies, etc.
Too many women want older professional working men with lots of money or at least have themselves established.

Let me get to the point.... the system in general is pretty much telling the young guy that he can't get big enough pay to make a reasonably healthy living off of or even have a chance at the vast majority of women out there until until he finishes college and establishes himself financially. However the financial establishment could have been taken care of at the end of high school/start of college if only the "type" of companies hiring them would give them a healthy pay but nnoooooooo because then that gives them no reason to go to college and learn the skills necessary to put to use in a job that is dependant on our society. Oh no that would screw everything up now wouldn't it.

Because if we pay Mr. College freshman $30 an hour at the Gap, he probably won't go to medical school to become a doctor and save all those millions of lives. We'd all be screwed then huh.

The 19-22ers are overlooked a lot, some have very high potential and are not just moronic no brainers. Some of them are capable of doing and managing the same responsibilities of people five-six years older than they are.

There are people this age getting pregnant and getting married and the only type of job that will say yes to them is a low-paying job.

America is indirectly telling these youngin's that they are not allowed to get married, have kids, swing with partners, or get paid lots of money until they are well into their 20s and graduated college. They should have all those rights. Of course dont get me wrong they can do these things regardless, they're even doing them right now, but it's doing the opposite to them of what it's doing for the older people instead.

A 29 yr old working for UBS can afford to have kids, get married, establish a reasonable living off of the income, and be appealing enough for women to want to "be around", as opposed to some one who is nine years younger than him. Because if the 20 yr old does any of those things he'll be screwed financially because he can't get that job at Bank of America.

Well, it seems the only other way out for these younger people is to find a way to get rich, not overnight, but as soon as possible. I'm talking basketball player Lebron James $99 million contract at only 17 years old type of as soon as possible.

There are negative and positive aspects to the Mafia controlling the labor unions here (NYC Metroploitan area) for such a long time.
One of the great benefits is that this is one of the very few places in the country that you can make a comfortable living at a well-deserved respectable wage as a skiled laborer.
A 21 year old kid who has been doing construction or electrical work since his Junior-year in High School could easily make upwards of $50K a year.

My oncologist told me that "life begins when you graduate from medical school"... Jewish definition of when life begins

This isn't philosophy.

Dixxyman:

That is hilarious.
