What does it actually do apart from looking rather unflyable ?

It flies. It was a test vehicle for new concepts, and has now been decomissioned, which is why it is now public.

it does look like it would fly it seems too small for a jet aircraft but cool looking. Put on two hellfire missles and you could take out what ever you want with it.
