Facebook Questions

I want to let my Facebook friends know about my blogs. Why can I not include my own picture as the post icon in Facebook? Why must it be one or another random image selected from my blog?

Well, that's all well and fine. My actual Facebook icon is a photograph of me atop Solsbury Hill:

However, when I decide to post a link to one of my blogs, so any number of friends who have found me through Facebook can read it, why is it that the accompanying picture must be ...

• ... a picture of Mark Steel?
• ... a cartoon of Herman Cain wearing a bra on his head?
• ... Bob Engelhart's self-portrait?
• a screenshot of a tweet about why NASCAR fans aren't racist. (And why their behavior is Barack Obama's fault.)
• ... a cartoon of Newt Gingrich?​

It's like they're taking the most recent images from the blog directory, except they aren't, since I added a different picture of myself, and it doesn't show up in the selection?

Actually you must include your own picture in your blog post or elsewhere in your blog where the url you embedded was going to. After that your blog post can have a series of image selection that includes your own picture. I hope this will help you.

Quite a number of sheople use facebook to somehow massage their virtual ego.
Real people have no need to massage their actual ego.

My bad! Seriously though, I have worked with "puters since mid/late 70's - and believe me since Facebook took off, virus and malware has jumped right on it!
