I have just updated my drivers for my graphics card and now the computer won't boot. It gets past the windows logo and hangs just before password prompt.

I have been trying to boot into safemode (win xp 64 bit pro) but it's not having it.

I have the orginal disk if that helpsw. But what do I do? Any ideas would be great :)

I have to hit F8 B4 the manufacter's Logo comes on screen.
If I don't hit soon enough I'm at the mercy of what Windows
wants to do.

1. check keyboard
2. go into DOS mode via DOS BOOT disk and check the specs
3. go buy another harddrive...format it...and install another system
4. buy another computer

One of these is ought to help

Just for future reference, if you don't press the F8 key at the right time it is possible to boot holding the CTRL key down which will take you to the F8 screen. Just keep hold of it during boot (But make sure you aren't holding it during any Keyboard checks or it might come up with a keyboard error)

Cheers for this no doubt I will have to attempt safemode at some other stage :)
