Usb broadband modem/network leads/usb router/Ps2 Internet Adapter/External broadband modem,Would this work with an external broadband modem,i dont want to connect my pc to a usb router,i want to connect my usb broadband modem,but will it work?.

PS/2 has nothing to do with networking, it is a plug & play port for keyboards and mice only - rather old actually, originally developed by IBM. They are usually 2 small circular ports at the top of the backpanel motherboard connections, one blue colored, and one green colored.

I don't believe routers work with USB ethernet adapters, I believe you need NIC's for routers.

Yeah you kinda don't make a lot of sense also if this helps when I hooked up my Ps2 network adapter it didnt work directly off the cable modem this could have been due to problems by shaw or something but when I got my router it worked on plugin. I dunno if this has anything to do with the question so.......... good luck!
