So, for those of you who don't know, I've recently left physics for a much more lucrative career in finance and a west coast lifestyle in Vancouver. (The two aren't mutually exclusive, believe it or not!)

Anyway, I want to let the people whose opinions I value (you know who you are) and who are regular posters in this forum that I have let the moderation lapse. This is due in no small part to the life changes (i.e., moving to Canada and finishing my PhD) that have preoccupied much of my free time as of late.

That being said, I will work harder to make sure that I am a bit more proactive about enforcing the standards that I worked so hard to implement in the first place.

1.) No honest question should go unanswered. Dishonest posters (i.e. people who ask dishonest questions) will be banned. You are invited to go elsewhere.

2.) Discussions should be civil, on topic and have some semblance of a relationship to the OP. This makes things easier to find.

2b.) If you are not civil, or not on topic, then it better be good.

3.) If you post threads here, and they get moved somewhere else, take the hint. Usually I warn people once about this, but learn how to take a hint.
