    That's simply because Saddam Hussein was an American ally who was a secular tyrant that crushed all signs of terrorism/Islamic fundamentalism in his nation.

    Osama Bin Laden is completely against America for stationing military bases in Islam's holiest nation, and believes in a theocratic governing system.

    The two hated each other.

    I always find it funny that anti-Islamists use Bin Laden to attack Islam and provide verses ive never heard him use. The only reason Ive heard from Bin Laden for his actions is that the US forces need to leave his country. Pretty reasonable.
