People do, in fact, doubt my sanity from time to time, but a curious notion is that they all shut up when my daughter arrived; I cannot speculate on this notion beyond merely mentioning it for sake of preventing a digression. It is enough to say, however, that a case like this (Jordan) would support the "above point" if only "we" were not a stone's throw from "there". Interesting post. I might have called it "Frightened" Jordan. Islam's hijack by revolutionary fundamentalist has everyone in power in the Mideast very worried, and terrified of inciting anything.
