It is interesting to note that Ganymede has a very thin oxygen atmosphere.

We might be tempted to associate oxygen with signs of life; but the oxygen here is created by the radiation of Jupiter, which splits the surface ice of the moon into hydrogen and oxygen, and the hydrogen quickly escapes to leave a slight oxygen remnant. The same thing happens on Europa, and possibly Callisto too.

Europe moon: Ganymede
It's jupiters moon not Europa's

It's a nice planet... I mean moon however there is little doubt that it would qualify as a planet if it wasn't in orbit around jupiter not only does it have a thin atmosphere it's also has it's own magnetic field.
Altough it's somewhat cheating he's bigger then the planet Mercury but has less gravity then our little moon (Io is the moon with the most gravity in this solar system followed by our own moon)
