I don't exactly what producer Rick Berman is trying to do with the Star trek:Enterprise and Star Trek in general but as of yet the series has not made any sense to me.Inconsistencies are all over the place.
Could anyone enlighten me? Is Mr Berman purposly trying to ruin Star Trek even more? the premise of the series itself is flawed. There was no history of a Enterpise NX in ST:TNG or any other ST show. I could understand that NX enterpise is the result of Picards trip back to earth( ST 8:First Contact). It seems ST is going down the drain if this continues.

Actually there were a few episodes this season that I liked (The one where Archer keeps forgetting everything after a day).
The real reason for this show is to reinvent the series... In other words make it cool. Which is impossible. ST is suppose to be nerdy. People who watch it are in science fields... Geez, it used to be a great show.
We still have ST:TOS and a few good movies. Enterprise is not ST. I will never except it as ST. Enterprise is crap and will stay crap. Rick Berman can go to hell, because in his mind ST is having T'Pol naked every five minutes.

This is entertainment, for the goddess's sake, not a religion.
Entertainment technology and the demographics of the SF audience have changed immensely since Captain Kirk's travels. It's nobody's fault and it's not even a bad thing, but it's something that the people whose job it is to entertain us have to deal with.
Voyager was very much like the original series... as much like it as would have been a commercial success three decades later. You old-guard fans should have been appeased by that attempt to reach out to you.
Now they're giving us Picard fans something that appeals to us and at the same time tries to fill in the big gap in human history between 2100, the latest year that anyone traveled back to and showed us (Sisco and Dax on DS-9, and it didn't look very advanced from our era), and Stardate Zero, when Earth is abruptly free of war and poverty, is a full-fledged member of the galactic community, and despite being the upstart apparently has founded the Federation and Star Fleet!
I'd like to see that gap filled. Enterprise does it. And it does it adeptly enough that it doesn't create too many inconsistencies with the other shows.
Geeze, we started out with Klingons that all looked like Frank Zappa and a starship that looked embarrassingly like a miniature plastic model. This is television, not history, and we just have to make allowances for it.
Besides, it's way better than Andromeda! (The show, that is. The avatar is way cool.)
I like Enterprise as a show, I don't like it as a Star Trek. Archer gets on my nerves, I just can't stand the guy, but other than that it has its moments. Stargate is a much better show though, in my opinion.

Archer is kind of sluggish and ape-like when moving or doing something that is important. Enterprise is an interesting show but I guess it has left a lot of inconsistencies, they might be filled in later though.
I agree wiyh Xelios. The show has gotten better as it became less Star Trek and more its own show.
Anything's better than Voyager.
