He is the singer of Live, a popular alternative rock band from the late 90's to present. Very nice gift! I'm jealous.
Idle Mind, his bouncer offered to take the pic for us so we are all in the photo tooPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
$55 which was amazing. last time i went to see live (oviously the whole band not just eddie) i paid $100 from memory and that was in a HUGE venue with 1000's of people rather than just around 100
They played a night club here last year, and tickets were $45. There was maybe 150 people there, and it was so awesome. They even played a couple songs from Mental Jewelry, which I was happy about. I got to meet Chad (guitar) and Patrick while partying afterwards, but Ed, Adam and Chad (drums) stayed in their hotel room. It was the end of the tour and they were heading home to Pennsylvania the next day.
Yep, Throwing Copper was their sophomore album (as Live -- they had an release called Death of a Dictionary when they were known as Public Affection), and the one that gained them notoriety.
Yes, I realize that. Nowhere in my post did I say that Throwing Copper was their debut album -- in fact, I specifically mentioned that it was their sophomore release as Live. But since they released Death of a Dictionary under the name Public Affection, Throwing Copper is their third release as a group. Mental Jewelry was their debut release as Live. But, I wasn't very clear in my first post, so I apologize for the confusion.
err sorry, language barrier. The word "sophomore" isnt really (or at all) used in the australian venacular (what a strange word, hmm). I thought it ment "first"
Oh, I'm sorry! I assumed you spoke english in Australia. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I'm kidding. I didn't realize that the word 'sophomore' wasn't used over there. Honest mistake then! But, Live was awesome up until Birds of Pray (which had a couple good songs), but I haven't really liked anything since the Distance.
