Hey,

I thought I would share this quiz with everyone because it really opens your eyes to just how much one person can affect the Planet.
If someone has already created a thread for this I apologise, the Forum Search wouldn't work. :bugeye:
The results are obviously worrying (well, mine were) but I guess that is the purpose, to create awareness etc.

Quiz (http://www.earthday.net/footprint/index.asp)

My results made me sad, well, sadder:
"IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 2.8 PLANETS."
Oh, the shame...

:m: Cheers

that calculater is bullshit, if you own a car it adds like 20 acres to your foot print.

earth has a carrying capacity of 9 billion humans in the proportions of people living now, after that, either we or earth dies.

and if stupid people stop having 10 idiot children and only have one or zero, earth will fine.

save a tree, dont breed more fucking idiots.

3.4 planets. But I don't understand. It says "IN COMPARISON, THE AVERAGE ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT IN YOUR COUNTRY IS 24 ACRES PER PERSON." Wouldn't this mean that with my footprint of 15, mine is much less than the average person's? And by that fact, why would we need more planets than the one we already have?
