So I'm watching Morning Joe, and the guests at present are Robert Reich and (I think) Joe Mecham, but Scarborough himself seems somehat hung over. (Yes, I'm drunk at the moment; but, in the sense that it takes one to know on, can't I claim sometheing useful? I'm on my fifth—I think—beer on this jag.)

Reich: We don't just need jobs, but we need jobs that pay well.

Joe is wearing a sweater and collar. I don't understand the significance.

Well over half the people surveyed are down on the Democratic outlook on the eoconomy; that's an interpretive statement—I'm typing slowly for the sake of something.

Point being: If not labor, then what? Coddle management?

Many corrections made to account for my state of mind, but the issues do, in fact, emerge rather quickly.

    Just a clarification

So, yes, it's John Mecham, but my point with this post is that the lack of a comma after the word, "Well", is intentional.

And whoever is watching, and whoever made the point, yes, the Democrats are depressed,

    5 beers?
    FIVE?
Are these like those Belgium 18.7% chocolate beers?

Yeah, 5 pints of 18% beer would probably have me a bit spinning too. I mean, 5 5%, that's just a wind down mate!

Yes, the economy is going along swimmingly, if you're a banker and the government just agreed to pay you and your goldie friends $1 for every $1 you bet against your own load. Hell yeah man, you are swimming in it. And why not? Americans ain't even got the balls enough to move their fat asses off the couch. But they aint gotta because we now print money and Chinese work for it and send us stuff we need. By the Gods life is good here

What is very disturbing to me is that they always seem to take polls in a totally democratic city, like New York, then tell us everyone thinks this or that about something or another. Polls should never be trusted.
