    Ok

i have tried the evil weed and i haven't got a problem with it

I stoped for reasons i have expressed else where but my friend still dose it

Thats fine but i have resently foundout that he is doing "e" pills again and is taking speed

    Should i be worried?

I don't think he is a junky taking them everyday or whatever and he didn't get adicted to weed but i don't know about speed

I am worried about him using e pills to because i herd that what people think is exstacy is really a mix of coke and herion and other junk

Should i try to do something?

    yeah get him off speed!
i did a paper on methamphetamine in health class and althouh ive never taken it, it can be very dangerous, he may think that he can survive long drops, or repeated blows to his body, it shuts off his ability to feel pain, and he will have unbelievable energy so he may just do something extremley dangerous and no think he can be hurt.

as far as the way to do this im not sure...
try to avoid getting him into legal trouble,
but if it comes to that and he may kill himself do whatever you can

Ok i know very little about speed except that it is made of a drug i use to be on (by perscription), Dexanphidime.

Can anyone give me some infomation to start with

As to how to get him off

The Law would be a last resort

The goverment has alot of programs going at the moment to HELP drug uses and the people close to them

If it is that much danger then i will look at using them

Drugs can kill you faster than King Cobra venom.

If you happen to be allergic to cocaine, a single speck the size of a grain of sand, can cause your heart to explode, literally.

It all varies. On the drug, the amount taken, the person's chemistry, and other factors.

Tell him they will kill him. Show him one of the versions of Faces of Death so he can see people dying.

As the guy above mentioned, I would avoid getting him into legal trouble. If you feel it is a threat to his life, I'm not sure exactly how you can do this, but there are ways and provisions in the law to forcably confine people to drug rehab centers (just as you can Baker Act someone to retain them in a mental hospital).

They can keep him locked in there (which wouldn't be jail if it's a rehab center) until the drugs have had time to clear his system, and he is over the withdraw effects. After he gets out with a clear mind, you might be able to talk to him, and tell him what an idiot he is and how he is going to get himself killed (and possibly others)

    Clari:

I know that this may be difficult for you, having only two neurons to string together (and one of them's inhibitory!), but let's cite scientific sources, mmkay?

Actually, it goes into somthing called arrythmia. The heartbeat becomes irregular, and fluctuates wildly.

    See here: http://www.pharmcentral.com/stimulants.htm#3-cocaine

Perhaps you have a source for this claim, though?

You don't want to get the law involved. He'll be pissed at you for sending him to jail (and that's, in all liklihood, what will happen) and won't listen.

It's his life. You can try to help him, but you can't make him help himself.

    Onto your questions:

E is not a mix of heroin and cocaine, you're thinking of a Speedball. Here's a decent page about it that dosen't use scare tactics or whitewash the drug: http://www.doitnow.org/pages/153.html

Anything can be addictive - E is fairly non-addictive though.

Speed is nasty stuff - here, this is a real medical souce:

    http://www.corexcel.com/html/body.methamphetamine.page3.htm

This should provide some treatment options:

    http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/amphetamines/amphetamines_effects.shtml

This is a good page to start from: http://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/#speed

I hope I've helped...if it's too technical, I'll explain what I can, and I might be able to wrangle an explanation or two out of my old Chem teacher...

    Well, good luck.

E - is something called MDMA - forget what it stands for. Anyhoo, it is cut alot with different drugs, mostly crank, coke or heroin. Very rare to find pure E. I dont know about it being addictive, i know when your on it - you want more and more. Speed is very addicting - ya you should be worried. When your doing that many different drugs its very easy to let it take over your life. Plus, your always on something. Either weed or speed or E - your never clear headed. Well from my experiences anyways.

    Take care

No, its speedball. Speedballin is when you mix heroin and speed - its what River Phoenix died of. Eightball is just and an 1/8 oz of crank.

I've heard Speedball and Q-ball for heroin and coke. Eightball was always heroin and speed.

    *Shrugs*

Must be a regional difference in slang - odd.

The good Lord has an American flag proudly waving in front of HIS big mansion.

And God boos whenever any country's anthem other than America's is played. Especially Canada's.

God 'blessed' the Isrealites by sending plauges, famines, and other tribes to attack them when He felt pissy. I sure don't want that for my country. And I don't want that for any other country, either!

I hope you're joking? You are joking, right?

Go Canada! Thanks for being our allies in the war on terror! Thanks for being such a cool neighbor, even if you do have a wierd obsession with Tim Hortons! Thanks for sticking by us, and thanks for being you!

Out of curiosity, was it ever heard of in America when Bush did his 'thanks' to all the nations helping America and didn't mention Canada? We got a little sore about that here.

    'thanks for being you!'
Like the classic cliche, we're the beaver to your elephant. There's debate in this country over whether or not eventually Canada will become part of America (manifest destiny). So soon enough, we may be you!

And hey, the Hortons stays, woman.

Tyler dear, those of us who follow W.Bush's pronouncments were not suprised. (Yeah, we heard).

This is a man who says things like "Our principles is our strength" and "Anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating." and "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." and "They misunderestimated me!" and "I do not believe we've put a guilty - I mean innocent - person to death in the state of Texas."

"There's debate in this country over whether or not eventually Canada will become part of America (manifest destiny). So soon enough, we may be you!"

You almost were - during the American Revolution, there was a brief excursion to try to get the French Canadians on our side. It failed pretty miserably.

"And hey, the Hortons stays, woman."

Ruin my diet, why don't you. Thanks ever so much.

Canada may end up as part of the States. It's likely that Canadian culture will fall deeper into Americanization first, though.

The Horton should never ruin a diet, it should be the base of a diet.

Canada will become America, one industry at a time.

It is interesting to note that a small group of softwood lumber producers in the US are forcing a 30% fee on all softwood lumber imported from Canada because they feel the Canadian lumber industry is subsidized by the Canadian government (not true), and in doing so destroying the economies of certain communities in Canada causing job losses of at least 50,000 within the Canadain lumber industry (not including spin-offs).

This small group of US lumber producers is actually shooting the American housing market in the foot. As a result of this decision, the price of an average house in the US will increase by $1500.

Now I'm all for the free enterprise system but in my opinion, this is a lose/lose situation for everyone except the small group of US lumber producers. Americans and Canadians will all pay for this blunder.

The Canadians are quite pissed at the Americans and are wondering what kind of "neighbor" would do this sort of thing, especially after all the support Canada has given to the war and the fact that a number of Canadian soldiers were killed by US friendly fire.

    Comments?

Just a bunch of rich people who want more money. Disgusting, but is found in all capitalist systems. Er.....all systems period, that is.

Should they be allowed to do that? No, not in my opinion. But Americans responsible for it will just be able to say; 'it's in the best interest of our country' and enjoy it. I know we also send you guys energy, does it happen with that? Also, do Canadians put any huge tarrifs like that on any American products? I really don't know a lot about anything except the lumber issue in this area.

But isn't that happening around the world? I don't know, I still sense a real difference in Canadian culture....

    You're, well, nicer. And cleaner.

I suppose I can see it happening gradually...if economic ties strengthen, and tariffs decrease....we might gradually lose our differences.

    Some boyfriend you'd make.
