Well now my D drive is acting up for no reason. It was working fine untill recently.

I put in a cd of anykind and get no response. I cheked the device manager and windows reports it as working properly but when I click on the D drive in my computer I get the message

    D:\ is not accessible
    Incorrect function.

    Any ideas or help...thanks.

EDIT:: ah hell....now my second E drive isn't working either. It looks fine, burns fine, windows reports it as fine but when I insert a disk I get nothing. When I click on the E disk it shows up empty even when there is a disk inside.

    any ideas?

Sounds like you should open up your box with a soft brush (toothbrush) clean out the dust from your boards and check your wiring, hopefully it will be a fault that just goes away with a cleanup.

What operating system do you use? I heard win98 sometimes does that...
Try formatting and reinstalling...I heard that would help...hehehe
But before you get that desperate, really do check if it's just dust, before you format...
