....discussions! Am I the only one who is thoroughly bored with the endless repetition of the same arguments about time dilation, length contraction, muons, rocket ships, embankments, etc?
There are so many wonderful and mysterious things to discuss, but any time some brave soul tries to bring it up, we see his/her thread sink ever lower down the list.
Look - there are some obviously clever people among you. Why not give it a try? The special theory has been totally done to death.
What do you think?

Simple solution -
1. Don't read the relativity threads, if you find them boring.
2. Start some threads on other topics!
Are your threads sinking down the list? Then maybe that tells you that people aren't that interested in them. At any given time, my list of Physics forum topics is usually only about half full of active threads, so it not as if threads get buried quickly.

James R:
Obviously I didn't express myself well. My complaint was not about the content of threads (people won't wait for my approval before speaking anyway!) but about the repetition. I remember you making very similar remarks in your role as moderator.
And if you seriously think I was bewailing the fact that my threads sink down the list, well!!. I know I'm pathetic, but not that pathetic.

Finally, I agree with James R.
