Hey, Leviticus just registered again!!!

His new username is "Leviticus2".

Is this allowed? Can I register again too?  ;)

Obviously you are only allowed to register twice if you are suffering from multiple personality disorder.

Leviticus2 . . . what an awful sequil that would make.

If you think you can get away with it, do so. But if I catch you, the punishment will be, well, whatever I feel like.

Hey, I was just curious as to if this is allowed here.........

I allways thought that that was against the rules elsewhere, but why would the original Leviticus make it so obvious hif he was trying to pull such a thing off? ;)

It happens:

proud_muslim

proud_syrian

(not obvious?)

So, like, will Leviticus get away with this? ;)

Don't worry about these things. What will happen will happen. If Porfiry finds it necessary to do something about it then he will. If not, then life still continues.

Tell me, have you noticed any posts by Leviticus in the last day!?

No. So is that why we are seeing Leviticus2 as a new member? :p

Bells, that's his evil twin brother back to reclaim his ex-wife, who happens to be his Moms sister.

Leviticus got banned for cross-posting, by the way.

Heh. I guess the evil twin and the banning all come together to explain the upgrading of the original Leviticus version to Leviticus2. ;)

What's "Cross-Posting"???

I've never heard of it.

And, I don't care a thing about Leviticus--I just wanted to know if I could get "Gadget-Guy" as well as "BMW-Guy".

Oh well. ;)

Leviticus always linked one of his own posts in many threads, as far as I know. This link did not concern the theme at all. I think he always gave a link to some poll he created.

He was really annoying. :bugeye:

there are several people with more then one user name here. Take Zero and Maia (same person). Sure you can have more then one name but problems will come of it, it just not looked on nicely. And if you use the name to conduct flaming, trolling or kooking activities then one or all of them are going to get banished much fast then if you just did all that with one name.

I can't even imagine how many people on this board have more than one username. Question is, how much control does Porfiry have over that (my knowledge of programming is that small). And it seems he can't do much about it, so....
Therefore, it is allowed! Chaaarge to make more usernames!

he can check your Ip address easy

Do you any of you think that there are members who have 2 user names that sometimes argue with each other?

jinchilla

I wouldn't doubt it happens from time to time. One could easily use a comp at work for one name, home for another and the library for another. Three different IP's. I don't advocate that sort of thing. Just an observation.

I've been under the assumption porfiry had another name. To separate the site owner from some personal views. Would avoid accusations of severe bias when administering punishment. But, you know what they say about making assumptions.

I don't think new log in names are a problem as no one can register, check it out for your self:

So thatīs why Leciticus2 is the newest member for about two days running. I started to wonder about that. Normally, we get a new member every few hours.

Porfiry,
Are you doing this to keep ban people from comming back or to stop people from making muliple accounts, or what?

Beamer,

Why exactly would you want another user name?

If the reason should be that you don't like your old one ... then chose a new name and just post here that you are now [enter new user name], formerly known as BMW Guy, so that we can follow your identity.

I don't see anything wrong with having multiple usernames in the same forum site. If no-one catches on, you could certainly increase your chances of winning a poll... and revive one of your own threads without seeming desperate.

[In case anyone's wondering, I'm only Starthane Xyzth... at least here.]

Conversely, does anyone use the same name on other forum-type websites?

Dreamwalker

Yeah, I do. My memory has some holes in it so I just use my alias whenever possible. Keeps the chance of forgetting your name lower.
