Sometimes I get frustrated when I'm working on something I care about. I have to catch myself and remember that frustration isn't conducive to any solution. Being "stuck" is good - it's an opportunity to learn and grow and should be sought after, not avoided or condemned.

I'm at peace now with the idea that that there are all kinds of different minds that perceive and function differently than mine. Some minds are like deserts and could not hope, even if one wanted to, to cultivate the mental concepts of a more delicate nature. A person with this kind of mind must content himself with concepts of a more dry nature, relying on as little as possible the refreshments from the heavens. Others have the opposite problem, their minds like rainforests, they cannot manage to fend off all of the diverse and plentiful concepts that make cultivating what one wishes almost impossible.

I suppose one would be most lucky to have that mind that is like the temperate climate - experiencing all of the seasons and having ample time to till and sow in the spring, weed and harvest in the summer and fall and reflect during the long sleep of the winter.

But I must remember that this diversity is something to learn from and enjoy. Where else will I get my mangoes and peyote?
