Doing away with the stupid people

The world is filled with stupid people using up resources better utilised by the rational and getting in their way with delusions and violent tendencies (since delusions and violence by definition, can only belong to the irrational). Some of them even aggravate the long-suffering rationalists on this board, forcing them to take extreme steps to protect themselves (like insults, moderation and banning).

How to get rid of them (nonviolently, of course) so there can be world peace?

Put Scratch and sniff stickers at the bottom of public swimming pools

Convert them into rational intelligent people. Educate/re-educate them.

 

Send them into space to 'preserve the human race.' Give them enough food for 2 weeks. Shoot down anything coming into the Earth's atmosphere for the next 2 months. It some of them survive that long, they have useful psychological qualities, invite them back with open arms.

Drowning is not humane.

Most (like myself) are beyond salvage.

This seems the most enterprising, but the shooting goes against the nonviolence demanded by rationalists.

 

Elect them to office.

 

How many stupid people are there in the world? What's the percentage?

Nonviolently? Why? Why be so nice to them? Perhaps that "nicety" is the very reason that they've been permitted to thrive and multiply to such numbers as you seem to think/know. So again, how many stupid people are there in the world?

We need more shows like Air America with Al Franken to help stop the madness.

The "rationalists" can't stand intellectual and religious freedom, doesn't work for them.

 

But aren't they also killing some of the smart people, too?
