Non-Logical-Idea-Guy 10-27-07, 07:29 AM if u suffer from exam anxiety, I dont see how half a spliff is gonna affect or intelligence if you've already done the revision etc. I think that amount could increae your result because U r less stressed. however, more than that and you might start to drool and spell your name wrong. My dad said it helped for pain and increased his appetite during those bouts of nausea from chemo. cosmictraveler 10-27-07, 08:40 AM i dont know about better grades but apprently weed helps you if your in pain, can anyone vouce for that? What type of pain? If its just a little sore throat or small bump on the arm then I'd say yes but anything beyond that forget about it and go see a doctor for the correct pain medication that really is ment to reduce severe pain like cuts, sprains and broken bones. :m: cosmictraveler 10-27-07, 08:44 AM For dedicated weed smokers. Does it help you get better grades? No. It won't make you study better. It will only "numb" you into wanting to quit studying and eat. Pot isn't anything more than a drug that gets you feeling good, high, and hungry. Your anxiety is caused by you not knowing your school work and you should take more time in preparing yourself for the tests. Tests are only to help you see if your memory is doing OK. If you smoke pot it doesn't help your memories whatsoever. Killjoy 10-27-07, 10:02 AM For dedicated weed smokers. Does it help you get better grades? I haven't so much as laid eyes on the stuff for years, now, but I can't see how it would help in any scholastic activity. For me, anyway, it always used to start what seemed to be hundreds of "trains of thought" going at once, and it was reeeeeeally easy for any given one to get "derailed", and the next to become simply fascinating for some seemingly random number of minutes. i dont know about better grades but apprently weed helps you if your in pain, can anyone vouce for that? I've heard of it being helpful in certain situations - Orleander mentioned chemotherapy - but I always found that it didn't so much relieve the pain of any incidental cuts, bruises or whatnot that I might have had at the time I indulged, but seemed to render the sensation into something which somehow did not equate with discomfort. Klippymitch 10-27-07, 05:52 PM You'll gain a better understanding on how the world works around you on different points of views. But that is different than being book smart. Reiku 10-28-07, 05:56 AM I still smoke pot, so... yeh, i think it helps. MetaKron 10-28-07, 06:06 AM Only if you're studying how to top pizza's with Mcdonald's food.
