Is it true that there are only 3 races: cocasion, negroid, mongaloid? Allot of people think that all cocasions are white but arabs, Asian Indians and some other non whites are also cocasion and native Amerians are mongaloid the same race as asians (Chinease, korean, etc). It seems to me that skin color has nothing to do with race because there are big variations in skin color within a single race, Like there are light skinned cocasions and dark skinned cocasions and the same is true with asians.

There are no races. The concept is a human invention aimed at pigeon-holing people based on a couple superficial characteristics of appearance.

It doesn't stop with "race" either. Although Eurasia is just one continent, many countries teach it as two separate continents, preferring to ignore the geological definition of a continent because the people on one side of the continent "look differently" from the people on the other side, therefore there must be "two continents".

Race is whatever you think it is, therefore skin color being the loudest form of easily recognized genetic variation in Humans is the most important part of race.
The caucasian negroid mongoloid idea was a dumb idea and was false pseudoscience.

Actually Race has more to do with skeletal structure then with skin color.

A forensic scientist can identify a person’s race just by observing the bare bone skull of a body.

No skin need be present for this identification.

The following link sounds a lot like pie-in-sky to me but it claims that there are generic differences between the races as well.

It sounds to me that they are trying to sell a product.

Drawing a graphic image of a person based solely on their DNA is hard to imagine.

What about Austrailianoids?
Race is about bone structure. Skin colour is superficial.
Have you ever met a black albino? Look at the Maury files he had a black albino girl who was 14 on his show. The negro population disowned here because she had no Melanin (and was ghostly white with red eyes)

I agree with this. There is only one human race.

but there still are many physical differences in people living in different places of the world

Simply because there is a history of poor logic surrounding the idea of human 'races', doesn't mean that we should pretend that differences don't exist. Nor should we forget the attrocities that have occured, and continue to occure undeer the banner of 'race'. We need to learn to grow up and see those difference for what they are; not what we want them to be.

The human races as they are currently and popularly defined, are questionable. In this coming age of genetic understanding, we may find that much of our knowledge of taxonomy in general will be re-defined, particularly in the plant kingdom (where species are often differentiated by phenotypic traits, rather than gentic traits).

Race is whatever you think it is, therefore skin color being the loudest form of easily recognized genetic variation in Humans is the most important part of race.

bingo, minus the double-neg at the end /grammer nazi off
