I've been wondering for a while now when is FFX2 coming out? what's it goin to be like? when does it take place?
what about the FF7 remake? does any one know anything?

FFX2 will be coming out either late this year or first quater next year.....as for a FF7 remake.....we can only wish for such a thing to happen.....:D

I read somewhere that they were going to do an FF7 remake with better graphics but you play as Rufus and everything is from Shira Inc.'s point of view.

FF7 was incredible. I bought it off of a recommendation from the clerk, and have to say it's one of the best games of all time. (This coming from a person who doesn't like RPG's.)

If they made it for PC, I'd buy it(given that it's actually good).

Where have you been for a odd number of years now.....it's been so long since they did that i doubt you'd find it anywhere but the net.


as for the FFX2..it will be nearly completely non- linear and the most of the game is a lot more lighthearted...(think Charlie's Angles).....only three characters are playable in this one but the former characters do make a comeback as non-playable ones. This one is more mission based rather than a epic adventure.

FFXII, currently in the works, I've only seen the teaser poster, but it was amazing, like a giant city or something with all this cool stuff. Almost had a 1930s feel to it.

and there are the remakes to the old school games.

If I remember correctly, Square is planning on remaking 1-6, or at least rereleasing, for the GBA, and PS1, with new cut scenes and stuff. So far they have 1 and 2, and 4 and 6 are coming soon I think.

as for FF X-2, I'm sure it will be great regardless of the gameplay differing greatly from FFX(which differed greatly from other FF games)

On top of all that, square recently became Square-enix, It is very possible that a Dragon-warrior/FF hybrid could appear.

There have been no announcements made about any FF7 remake although it's obvious that people would like one.

FFx-2 is coming out in november, FF 11 and 12 are scheduled for a 2004 release.

Given that Square typically releases 3 Final Fantasys and a 'special' final fantasy per system, we can expect that ff-12 will be the last game for the ps2, unless we are talking about addons for ff11.

ff7 was by far the coolest game ever.
theyl probably make a remake someday. but for now i have to say its all probably rumors and whisps of half truths.

Isn't FF11 or FF12 coming out on November for Gamecube? If it is then oh my bob i only have a ps2 . Note to self: sell brother, then buy Gamecube.

No, that is a separate game for GC being handeled by Square but not the main FF team. I believe it is called FF crystal or some thing of such.
