I am curious how many of you do the majority of your posting from your workplace. If so how do you get away with it?

I do. I have my own office. I basically do whatever I want.

Im at work 90% of the time I post, I love my job.

Do you make sure to delete everything? Does your employer restrict the sites you can access?

Well I work from home so it isn't an issue. The jobs I had before never gave me the option of screwing around on the computer, while I was supposed to be working.

Some sites are blocked and I get a message about sex, hate speech, or nudity, but mostly that's not a problem. I do minimize the screen, but not because I'm doing something wrong, only because I want to remain anonymous here. I also don't want to offend any Christians or Republicans that I work with.

I mostly post when the computer is doing some intensive processing, or like today when I have alot of free time. My work is somewhat seasonal.

I really couldn't work unless I could take frequent brakes on the internet and listen to music and podcasts. It increases my productivity and morale.

I do post from work, but because lately I have a lot of work to do, I post a lot more from home.
Nobody cares what I do as long as I get the job done.

Are you allowed to talk on something like Msn Messenger? Or would that be restricted?

I have no idea, I don't chat.
I would not do that even if I did chat, because it would distract the people I work with.

My workplace blocks messengers, but I hate them anyway. I wouldn't worry about anyone tracking the sites I visit, there are more than 6,000 people working here.

We have about 400 working locally (not counting technical staff like drivers and cleaners) and a few hundred in other countries.

I have at other jobs. Once I got pulled into the office and shown the list. (A HUGE list) I told them I was bored and needed more work. My boss said "You've got to be shitting me" I already did so much. He said he didn't have any more to give me, but would see what he could do. They never hired another employee in his dept while I was there, unlike others who were always screaming for more people. I got my 10% raise, they got their 1.5%.

If you cover our bosses ass, he will cover yours. At least, I've been lucky that way.

There is no point in deleting. The computer administrators can see exactly what I do with my computer from the comfort of their own office.

No restrictions other than no downloading with peer-to-peer networks such as Kaazaa.

When I first joined I posted often from work, I also played RTCW my job didn't have enough tasks to keep me busy and I had my own large office. Now I have a job that I like, that keeps me busy and my office is much smaller. I still read though and occasionally post.

No idea, I send the report the their managers and let them deal with it. No one fired over it yet, even the playboy site wanker.

We used to spend alot of time playing Doom over our network.

M work environment is very serious and also I work with mainframes so I stare at a black screen all day... there is no way I could get away with posting at work

at some other company I worked, I used to use cache to read news articles, I got a letter telling me to stop.. I hated that place :)
