View Full Version : Do Spirits & Souls exist?

Lots of well educated people vouch that they have communicated with spirits and souls of people long dead. An 'Ouija' board is said to be used for making a contact with the souls. Spirits are said to know things beyond what a human can ever know.
Any first hand experiences on using ouija boards?

I would not advise you to make use of an Ouija board. People have gone pretty crazy because of the effects it seems to cause.

Mostly young people try this out and then some subconscience rises to the surface and confuses the "players" present at the Ouija board and plays tricks with them.

It is just another device with which people work on eachothers excitement and hidden fear that there may come an answer to their questions. When something happens they think it is a spirit, evil or not, that is neither here nor there.

All of it is coming from subconciousness but can play on your imagination as being a real event.

My wife did it with a bunch of friends in her student days, they apparently raised the spirit of a woman who used to live in the same building at the turn of the century. One of the girls in the group was a sceptic and began to giggle, the glass shot across the table and smashed against a wall. This was followed by sounds of loud thumping against the walls, doors and windows of the flat all night, which kept the girls up too terrified to go to bed!
The following day my wife moved out.

Don't do it!

ouija, tumbler and coin talking... done em all
works too. its kinda rare tho to get a smart spirit to come and answer questions. most of the time its some dumb shits that wanna fuck with you.

a simple mantra...

"will a benevolent spirit please come and answer my questions"

repeat until something shows. use any light object to place finger on, scrabble pieces will work fine for the letters, failing that you can write stuff on scraps of paper.

desire to make it work is the key here, focus. no distractions.

may the good lord have mercy on your soul!

There was a cousin of mine, an engineer, who never believed in souls & spirits. He tried this ouija with some friends, and told me that a lot of his personal details no one knew were mentioned on the board...
And he claims from then on that God exists, and so do spirits!

I agree with Banshee.

I was skeptical and pretty much on the verge of dismissing spirits and whatnot as fake until a few weeks ago. My mother told me that when she was about 12 she was home alone and had to go upstairs to use the bathroom. Well as she was walking out she felt like something was in the hallway. She proceeded to walk down the stairs, and as she looked at the top, there was a figure that appeared to have a sheet covering its body. THEN it floated all the way down the stairs and disappeared.

You know how people will get all flustered in a dark room or in an area where there's a supposed haunting, and will create depictions out of their own fear? Well my mother wasn't afraid before this even happened...according to her she was watching the Lucy Show and had been home alone multiple times before. Also she wouldn't lie to her own kid especially about something frightening.

One new years eve me and my father and my grandmother used a ouija board, just for fun. My father got the name Roy, it kept coming up. We thought that it was nothing...we didn't know any Roy, at all. Very unusual name in Sweden.
But then he met a Roy, and this person was the one that connected my father with the woman who had given birth to my half sister that I recently found out about.
Of course spirits and souls exist, I can't think of any reason why they shouldn't.

You tried it? It would be interesting to know about it all.
I heard that the spirit of a dead person we know can be called, and chances of calling a spirit are higher if the person has died recently.
Is that true, spookz?

I always thought that these spirits of the godly people exist for some time on the earth and act as God's agents!

Roy is a fairly common Indian name. But tell me, your father met Roy before or after the experiment?- I mean did you contact the spirit of Roy?

He met Roy several years afterwards. Naturally he was interested in who this person was, because of the ouija board experience. We didn't contact the spirit of Roy, but we did try to contact my grandfather who had died not so long ago then. So I think the message "Roy" came from him. That my grandfather somehow knew that this Roy person could lead him to the child he didn't know he had.

ulti

funny thing is i am a bit sceptical about the recently deceased spirits things.
anyway i really dont know who gets summoned. you probably need specific incantations to get any particular spirit. ive just done it for fun so i wasnt really picky about what spirit came. have a clear sense of self when you do this stuff, if they try to intimidate you, tell em to fuck off! no comment on god

pumpkin (naughty girl!)

sorry, it is coin talking or tumbler talking. it is the same principle and layout as the ouija board .the coin or the glass is the animated object.

the coolest thing about this is to drag the sceptics for a session and watch em freak out

ps: i have never been able to summon anything by myself

well, back to the original question.

experiance with souls AND spirits? yes. main difference between the two *as far as i know* is that a spirit is something of the earth, where a soul once inherited a body.

with a Ouijja board? no. never used one. though i would. some of my friends have had pretty funky experiances with them. One of them has a continous spirit come to her.

feh. ya believe or you don't. its hard to change peoples beliefs.

spirits and souls like the ones that go to heaven or where ever when you die. no dont belevie in thoses but there but there might be some kind of "energy" in you and maybe it does something when you die or it might not be there at all.

I have an inclination for the eastern philosophy and the existence of souls probably adds credence to the reincarnation philosophy. Or doesn't it?
