    I'd think it was just a coincidence that he ran into them, it might have been an unemployed hair dresser , would they then get unfair press as you suggest if it was one of them?

    You're not joking are you...Jeez..

    How many hairdressers speed through a crowd of slow-moving demonstrating cyclists, potentially killing a multitude of people?? Is a hair appointment that important? You don't imagine that the city banker was in a moment of outraged madness due to the demonstrators directing their grievances at the city fat cats themselves?

    Perhaps the banker just received word his wife was giving birth and wanted to make it to the hospital in time?

    Although, I am surprised a banker would risk his own life and reputation trying a stunt like this. Why didn't he just hire some goon to do the dirty work for him?

    In a word, NO! They get paid enough to suffer the slings and arrows of our contempt...

    Edit..It's thier career choise. you don't hear lawyers whining that nobody loves them, and they've been villified for much longer..
