I don't know if I've posted a thread similar to this before, but, oh well, here we go [again]...

Django Reinhardt is a phenomenal guitar player. He played with a few other guys in a band for awhile, each phenomenal in their own right with their specific instruments, however Django is probably my favorite guitar player. What's incredible about him is that he lost a finger or two in a fire and still played better than maybe anyone alive at the time. Correct me if I'm wrong;)

I recommend downloading Brazil, for starters, and then proceeding on from there.

Download some piano by Michael Kaeshammer. Great, great, music. It's not the same as Django's style, but I like it a lot and see similarities.

Oh - and see Sweet and Lowdown by Woody Allen. And download any music from a Woody Allen movie!
