I was watching an episode of The wire online on the website's online divx player and unfortunately my internet connection was cut whilst i was uploading the episode. Now i can only watch up to where my internet cut from which is 5 mins.
Is there anyway i can restart the uploading , so i can upload whole episode???
I've tried removing my cookies,my history and restarting my computer, so far this hasn't helped. Does anyone have any idea of what i could do to make it work?????

okay. if you are watching the episode then it is streaming, not uploading.
your entire quote is confusing because of the technical details like this.
Now i can only watch up to where my internet cut from which is 5 mins.
okay. now this part of your quote implies that you were downloading the video.

okay. what exactly do you want to do?
do you want to be able to watch the video at any time without going to the website? if so the you want to download the video.
the short answer to this is no. if you don't have a download manager that can resume downloads then no. i believe the firefox browser has either a built in manager or a plugin available. i experience very little internet interruptions soi have no need for such a thing. when it is interrupted the connection is so fast that it's a minor inconvenience.

Sorry, i'm a bit dim when it comes to things like this. I think it is more likely that i was streaming it on/from a website. Thanks for the advice , i'm going to try find a site where i can download the firefox browser.

eh, no problem. remember:
streaming is when you are watching from the videos website.
Downloading is when you are saving the video, or file, to your hard drive for later use.
Uploading is sending a video, or file, to another website.
these are the important points.
there will no doubt be the stickler that will come along and really confuse the issue by saying "you upload when you download".
I think it is more likely that i was streaming it on/from a website.
if you was at the site where the video is located and was watching it from there then yes, you was streaming the video.
if your connection is fast enough then you can stream the video and download it at the same time. in this case start the download before you start to watch the video.
Thanks for the advice , i'm going to try find a site where i can download the firefox browser.
what i recommended was a download manager that can resume downloads.
firefox browser either has one builtin or has a plugin available.
i'm positive that Internet explorer also has similar managers available.
