This article is fascinating. A toy maker and a chemist have created bubbles that have beautiful colours, and disappear when the bubble pops. It's a really interesting article about their path.

I find some of applications of this chemistry to be a little strange, but think about being able to mark surgery lines without permanance. Or a secure document that simply fades away. It's stunning to think how it might be applied.
