Forget all this Mayan 2012 business, the Incas were far more prescient, they definitely predicted colour TV, even down to depicting a famous character...

No, but they did predict jets/aircraft.

The rear stabilizer makes us think they must have had at least model planes. No bird/bug has rear stabilizers.

    This was Incan.

Yes Dwyd - for one can even see all the bubblez forming around his spongy body as he takes a breath.

kwhilborn - Can you link to an article where they actually flew this beast? I do remember seeing a video once and it worked. (It will really help your cause to show more than pictures)

    Supposition.

But fish do. Think about rays and sharks while you look at these:

Claimed to be. Strangely (or maybe not) the ONLY mention (or pics) I can find are on crank sites.

I've seen this one kicked around a bit. Fish are a safe bet. Hell, perhaps flying fish. It wouldnt be the first time that a human got the fin arrangment of an aquatic animal wrong in a representation of same.

Where real science dare not go, pseudoscience flourishes.

Inca lacked a written language and those aren't even pictographs, so people can make up whatever they want about them. To me it looks like a harrier jet, not a fish. Just sayin.

Sponge Bob was the unavoidable outcome of capitalist culture. And, as such, our saviour.

We do not give the ancients credit they deserve.

Do you think those are sponge-bob's jellyfishing poles? I can't believe this until something conclusive is drawn about the objects in his hands...

I love the Inca site, which even though the Incas were merely the last inhabitants is one of the first places for civilization to independently grow.

The Mountains were a cradle of safety much like water was for Crete, isolation for China and abundance for Sumer.
