Just wondering if anyone watched the silly actors receiving their little awards or has it even been on yet? I haven't really been paying attention; however, the thought of shallow actors recieving an award and fussing over what borrowed jewelry they are going to wear during a time when there are more important things happening in the world, -- cough--- the war, sickens me. What do you think? Are ya with me or am I just being fussy?

I caught a glimpse of the awards last night, in particular the exact moment the guy (forgot his name) kissed Halle Barry. A bit awkward for Halle to say the least. You should have seen her expression in the background.
Yes, the fact that these actors/actresses worry so much about what suit to wear or if their 200 carat diamonds match their $5000 shoes irks me more than it should sometimes. There are people who can't afford food and here they are throwing money around. But I don't want to be a hater. They're just living most peoples dream lives and I am a liiiiiiitle bit jealous. :)
And yes, there are more important things in the world right now but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the awards. If we were to only reward ourselves with leisure after the troubles of the world have been resolved I don't think we'd ever get a chance to watch tv again. Use it as an escape from this reality that is the war. You can't worry about Saddam and his cronies every hour of everyday. Leave that to the gubment.

No problem wesmorrisbabe. :) There are too many variables in life to just concentrate on one thing at a time. Although, I am following the news more closely nowadays, I still find time to watch tv, play games, and post on message boards hehe.
