Hey ya'll! I have a question. I just heard that Desert Eagle guns are now illegal to purchase starting January 1, 2003. I live in California so I dont know if its a statewide law only or a nationwide law. Does anyone know if this law is true? I can't find anything on the internet. I believe my dad has a Desert Eagle locked up in storage. I recall him showing it to me a few years back. But no-ones been into that warehouse for years, it's just gonna collect dust. I think it might be a decommissioned on tho

After having seen the movie Bowling for Columbine and considering the stats on shooting deaths in the US I have to ask just two things: 1. Why would you want a handgun that is capable of breaking your hand from the recoil? You are going to go and spend $2,000 to go out on the gun range and shoot paper? 2. Why do Americans have this obsession with buying handguns in general? Do you go out hunting for deer with a desert eagle or magnum? Like a childs hand?
Whoa that is a nice DE! I'd rather have fully automatics though, small ones like mac 10's or 11's, I'd love to have a Kalishnokov AK, or an MP5 which aint that big . I have a chrome p22 9 mm , very nice. Has barely any kick in it and still powerful. I have a silencer with it, even though having one is illegal , and thats best thing I love about the gun and the low recoil.

Why I'm obsessed with having a gun hmmm let me think... After my house got robbed FIRST time , would be one answer I got jumped on the streets 2 times without even being robbed I got mugged once at point blank with a gun at my face and was robbed of 10 dollors, my gold chains, my class rings, oh and even my shoes, and jacket. My friend was shot not too long ago and thats just 1 friend. I leave my door wide open all my curtains pulled back at times ne one see what I have. And I aint even gonna worry about robbers I got me some shit that will make em run like scared bitches. Oh and I always wanted to say to someone "do you feel lucky" heh. $2000 on a gun.... it better be an AK for that much heh. I can get a mac 10 for 300 if I want. I got the p22 for 150 and the silencer was more than the gun. I sold a ruger for 50 dollars long time ago, and got a glock in exchange for the gun and money. what I want to get is a kevlar vest =) I'll never take that off if I had one. I'm not actually obsessed with guns I'd rather not have one if need be cuz it brings too much heat on myself if I get arrested with it.
Why would the DE be illegal? To me it don't make no difference what you get shot with you get shot your fucking shot, by a glock , DE, ruger , whatever your still gonna be in pain.
Ok, so you carry a gun because you are afraid of people robbing you. So lets say hypothetically that the US put tougher laws on how to purchase a gun and outlawed handguns all together. Yes I admit there would still be a lot of guns out there already, but over time there would be a less chance of some idiot trying to rob you at gunpoint. So would you rather be a part of the problem today or part of the solution in the future? The gold plated Desert Eagle costs $2000 I am not saying that a child would know how much recoil a gun has, but there is still the chance a child could go to school with a Desert Eagle and try and shoot a bully that took the kids milk money.
How can it be a problem owning a gun? guns dont kill people people kill people and it doesnt have to be a gun that creates violence
