The network here at my home has expanded to the point a house file server seems like a necessety. Not only does my fathers small business, mothers college work and brothers career seem to necessetate a long-term storage area, but digital media such as the MP3 and Divx are getting popular. It would also be nice to run a dedicated server when my friends come over for LAN parties. We play mostly Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. To this end, I've completed my first Windows 2000 Server (yes, running Server, not just Pro) and I am hoping for suggestions with reguard to configuring and streamlining this platform. I am not experienced configuring and arranging servers, so any advice would be very appriciated.
