Basically, this guy continues to argue a point that he can not support at all... and whenever somebody actually asks him a question, he changes the subject. On top of that he has been flat out lying about 'i know this, and that' when he has shown no actual knowledge of the subject besides what he has cut and post from other sites.

If that was aimed at me: The jist of what I said was just ignore anyone that may annoy you. It's not that bad and how hard is ignoring someone? Just pay attention to people who make good points. Just like we all did with Whatsup....until he got banned.

If that was NOT aimed at me: If you don't think it's worth it, then don't. Simple as that.

Well, we can't get members banned for being stupid. We can't even get them banned for breaking the rules 100 times over, and over-riding a mod edit! So what's the fucking point in anything anymore?

Yes, it is indeed strange that a 'stranger' (only 25 posts or so) immediately goes for act of making a banning proposal thread.

I would postulate that this member is therefore either:

-someone who just gets easily enthusiastic about things
-generally malicious
-an old member under a new name
-someone with a personal grudge
-something else...

Well I think that most of us who started ban threads actually are +2000.

Well, not that I have enough of a problem with any of the members to start a thread requesting their banning, but I disagree with the minimum number of posts being so high. I have been here for well over a year, but my post count is low because I only really post if I have something relevant to say. I am here every day, and I do read a large proportion of threads, so I do encounter all sorts of nuts and freaks as often as the avid posters. Why then, should my small post count inhibit me from speaking my mind against posters that I find annoying and offensive if I were to feel the need?

Well I've dealt with stupid acting members, like Q and Persol, by simply putting them my ignore list, and the problems are over :)

Yes I do, and I consider myself a scientist, because I enjoy science, I am very interested in science and theoretical science beyond a level of a generality, and that I analyse everything objectively. It hardly matters what others think about me, I know myself better than others :)
