    Anybody ever see this show?

I heard great things about it and TiVo'ed it last weekend. I'm totally hooked. It's a shame it only lasted two seasons.

Never heard of it but I was concerned about you/thought it was about you and clicked on your post.

    Intriguing headline.

I've seen both series and loved it. Sometimes really good stuff just disappears. I used to like Jake 2.0 as well.

WTF? Jake 2.0 got cancelled?!!! I just saw the first episode and liked it.

    Damn them.

    Uh... at least Heroe's survives.

love love love Dead Like Me. My favorite person is that odd lady that works with George/Millie at the Temp Agency. She never says anything, she just watches.
I wish they would put her character on The Office.

If you ever get the chance to watch it, we had a program in Britain called "Life on Mars". It was about a modern police officer who finds himself back in the 1970s. It's pure gold.

DLM is a good show, but the censored version bites.

Censored? What's in it to be censored?

It was on a pay cable station. The language and violence have been sterilized. Ever seen the original??

Maybe I've only seen the censored version. I can't remember if there was any bad language, but there was no violence. Are we talking about the same thing? This was a comedy fantasy.

Same show with Ellen Muth. It was a Showtime or HBO series sold to regular cable and hosed down by the namby pamby conservatives. The show had alot of gruesome tongue in cheek violence and Muth dropped the F Bomb every other sentence.

Yes that's the one. I can hardly believe they would censor much of it. I don't think it even went out after 9 o'clock here. Have just done a google and a DLM film is being planned. Starring Ellen Muth. Will look forward to it.

Alot of cursing and grisly deaths made it unpalatable to uptight righties so we get the editing. There are a few people on it in other series' now. I hadn't heard of the movie.
ABC is coming out with a ripoff of it in the Fall called Pushing Up Daisies.
