I have the Natural Born Kilers Director's Cut DVD.

It is in widescreen. The top black belt is broken. It sticks into the image. So the top line of the screen isn't straight. It looks crippled.

Any idea what this is? Is this a known error?

Could it be a bad laserdisc to DVD transfer? But I can't find the problem in any forum or review...

well does it do it in every player or just one?

the simplicity of the question! I feel ashamed now. It hasn't been in another DVD player. But I have other DVD's that work fine. I will test it as soon as I can.
