Hi, After DNA extraction and PCR verification on agarose gel, last DGGE gels do not work. It is the first time I obtained results alike without bands... There has to be an explanation.
Did you use a marker? Did the marker bands show up? Are you using primers you used before? Was it a fresh batch? Do you have GC clamps on one primer set? Did you remember to add sample to the PCR mix? Was the PCR run properly? Are your reagents fresh? What does the gel look like? Can you upload a picture?
