I just wanted to mention I had screen tearing issues with my AMD 6620G graphics using my HDTV and Monitor. Some games had tearing while others were pristine and it was really pissing me off! So I read online and found RivaTuner (no longer updated) which contains a program called D3DOverrider. Basically it just forces VSync and Triple Buffering for games. I am not sure why the method used in ATI Catalyst Control Center doesn't work but for whatever reason using this tool I was able to stop the tearing issues.

Just wanted to mention it, and I have the 12.2 beta drivers but all previous ones had this issue too. I just installed RivaTuner then uninstalled it later after getting D3DOverrider out, I'm sure future drivers will fix this in time but I've got no clue why the forcing options only work with this utility. Cherrio!
