We all know Claudia Black appears in the upcoming episode "Prometheus Unbound" but the creators of Stargate claim that they're not trying to win over Farscape fans, it's just that they're good actors. Can't say fairer than that.

Prometheus Unbound was ok and definitely hints at Claudia appearing in a later episodes.

As for Browder, I think he'll fit right in, although I think I'll always be waiting for Rygel to come floating around the corner.

I think that the article is correct. They are not trying to win over Farscape fans; they are simply hiring good actors. Ben and Claude have both won multiple Nebula and Hugo awards. They're good actors.

You have to understand that a large amount of Farscape fans like SG as well, we just think Farscape is better.

Yep, my personal opinion is that Farscape is better than SG-1 (not Atlantis) and I hope these two actors will bring their qualities to the Stargate universe.

Only just downloaded Prometheus Unbound today and I must say Claudia was quite good in what has to be one of the funniest episodes made. Although I did wince a bit when she jested about going straight to sex, SG-1 usually avoids action movie style lines like that.

I also hope Adam Baldwin has more of an active role in the next series. I have fond memories of him playing Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket firing away with his M60. Also, he is one of the most popular sub-characters in the show beaten only by the young O'Neil.

SCI FI Channel confirmed that Farscape star Ben Browder will join the cast of SCI FI's original series Stargate SG-1. Browder will join the cast in the show's upcoming ninth season; no information on Browder's role was available. Meanwhile, the show's producer, MGM, is still working on a deal to bring back SG-1 star Richard Dean Anderson (Gen. O'Neil) in some capacity.

No SG serie is better than the Stargate movie!
Only my oppinion of course.

I'd like to see other Farscape crew joining or appearing on SG-1 in the future.

Would be good if Claudia Black's crew composed of the actors that played the other guys on board Moya. But seeing as though the season finale of series 8 was abismal, I feel there is little hope for the next series. Atlantis is now superior.
