Do you have a problem giving out you credit card details?

I have worked in a couple of different industries over the last couple of years and decided i am pretty much wouldn't have a problem if anyone anlawfully obtained my details.

Credit card security and fraud protection has become so good that what is the point of worrying?

I work in the credit card industry (hey, it funds my graduate studies in archaeology), and I can tell you that fraud is rampant. Moreover, there are companies that are extremely good at getting you to agree to a purchase or trial offer in order to trick you into a long-term subscription that you won't catch or be able to cancel for months. Many of those are offered by the credit card companies themselves.

I am always weary when I have to do a transaction online with it. That is why I rarely do, unless it is necessary.
