    Good day
Sometimes I have several frames (in JPEG or other format) and I want to assemble the gif-animation from them. Which software would you advise me for this purpose? Which one is the best? I know how to do it in Adobe Photoshop but this process is really exhausting there and takes a lot of time and is very uncomfortable when you deal with many layers (more than 10). So, is there the program that automatically, easily and quickly does it?

If you want something very simple and quick and FREE, I found an application called "un-freeze". it can be downloaded for free from majorgeeks.com

Sorry it is called, UnFREEz.. ill look for a link and edit in a few.

    Here are some tips.

    a) all of your pictures will need to be saved as .gif files you can load them into your paint program as jpeg and re-save them as .gif
    b) This program does not have time delays. You set a time delay between frames and that is same time delay used throughout all your pics.. if you want to slow one pic down try doubling or tripling it in the list section before animation.
    c) All of your pictures will need to be the same size, or it will just look silly.
    d) if you are resizing batch files or need to convert 100's of jpegs to .gif format majorgeeks.com has some good batch resizing, and batch file conversion software that is easy to use.

This program is very simple and I have used it to develope hundreds of animated gifs for my various websites and online advertising..

This tiny little program can be a lot of fun, especially for composing birthday greetings and such for family/friends.

I have used it as a professional application and have over 100 animated gifs currently online created by this.

just click any one of these on page it sends you to.

    Download@MajorGeeks
    Download@MajorGeeks

    It is FREE.

You can scan for virus, but Majorgeeks is a reputable website and virus free in my opinion. I have never gotten anything but good software from that website.

You will be making animated gifs within minutes of downloading. The time frame you enter in the program is in 1/100's of a minute so if you want it to be about 5 seconds you would choose number like 9 for timer.

As for ease: It is way easier than photoshop. you just drag and drop your pics into a box in the order you want them. you can double them up or triple if you want extra time on those frames. Then you enter delay between frames in 100's of a minute and enter a save file location, and press go. You could make an animation with 100 pics in about 5 minutes.

edit.. one below sounds similar. i'd try that one first. mine doesn't have preview, and its not microsoft.

as I rule I make the frames from movies and save them in JPEG format because in gif format the quality of the image is lost…..

    I could not

Actually, I also need to make the gif-animation directly from movie rather than making the frames and then assembling the gif-animations from them. Is there a suitable program for this purpose?

Those don't look like they are named like image files. Do they have a .jpg extension?

Oh, maybe I copy/pasted them in.

Yes, now that I think about it, I had to open the pics in photoshop, select all, then copy and paste it in each frame.
