Scientific method is a system of certain principles. To this discussion the principle of parsimonity ("Ockham's Razor") is the relevant one. The principle says: from two models, equally successfully explaining the given phenomenon, the simpler one is more likely to be correct.

Compairing the scientific-materialistic model (SMM) of the Universe with models that contain the supernatural, I am forced to admit that the former model, beeing simpler, explains the U. as successfully as any of the latter ones. So, I prefer the SMM.

Is it possible to remain consistant, simultaniously using the scientific method and believing in the supernatural?

It is too easy to explain (away) religiousness by sheer ignorance, but, for some reason, It does not satisfy me. What do You think?!
