I'm wondering if someone could direct me to a good factual comparison of the economic policies of the Presidential nominees who are in the running?

Doesn't have to be together, if you can direct me to the major points which make up the economic policies of each one, I can compare them myself.

Obama says he hopes to be guided by "what works". He is downplaying NASA in favour of education, and he is bringing in Universal health care. Why should Canadians be the only healthy people. Actually many uninsured people receive medical care amassing billions every year, this will just make basic coverage mandatory, and is not as expensive as it sounds. It will most likely be cheaper than insurance rates, and most families will benefit.

Obama wants us to cut oil intake for obvious reasons and is also working towards that goal.
Taxpayers often toss out do-gooder presidents though. Why cut our oil now when we can pay the price in 15 years or so.

Obviously; he is hard pressed to end the wars he inherited. 3 wars going on all at once is a bit much for economic stability. Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. What if someone else needed a serious beat down. We need to end the ones currently going.

Obama also inherited a record debt. It was like 438 Billion dollars at the end of bushes term. Totally insane!

He is going to tax single people and rich people , but middle class families will be left alone.. what else...

Guess he cannot touch the $700 000 000 000. Defence budget, for a while.

Obama graduated within the top 10% of Harvard Graduates, and went on to teach lawyers constitutional law for a living. He was the first black president of the Harvard review. 1000 people apply to write for the Harvard review, and most don't make it. Obama ran it.

It is sad that this president inherited such a mess. 2 wars, and the U.N. asking for Libya help, topped with a massive debt.

I would be fearful to let any of the other candidates in office, but most Americans do not realize that they are still fighting three wars and expect roses to be raining down.

    Change takes time.

To top it all off, when Donald trump became a nuisance bothering about Obamas birth certificate, The president ROASTED HIM so badly that Donald Trump has been closed lipped ever since. It is one of my favourite youtube videos.

    Thanks, kwhilborn

Do you know his position on the Bush tax cuts which are to expire in 2012 [I think]?

So, no one? No one familiar with Romney or Perry or Paul's economic policies?

Economics is big hush hush in these elections, everything is fine...
    Though Ron Paul may disagree.

To me they all say one thing when they are running for office but once they are elected they do what they want. So no matter what they are telling us now it doesn't really mean anything after all is said and done. This is the problem that we all face every election. :soapbox:

This is true. But I wish to compare the economic policies to judge the impact on the economy of the US and hence the world

Can you imagine ANY Republican today saying this?
