3. What is the distance of your commute? 17 miles
4. What type of transportation do you use? Small car, motorcycle (infrequently)

It would be expensive to buy a more efficient car. It would take longer to commute by public transportation. It's dangerous to ride the motorcycle. Ideally, our city's light rail system should be extended into my district, bicycle lanes could be expanded. I've been thinking about a bike with electric assist...

1. Do you commute to work?
Yes
2. How long does it take?
10 minutes, give or take
3. What is the distance of your commute?
Roughly 3 miles, give or take
4. What type of transportation do you use?
An industrial crane converted to run on endangered trees from the Amazon...and spotted owl beaks.
Actually it's a 2001 Buick Century - a clandestine vehicle of debauchery and wanton destruction
5. How does your commute affect your quality of life?
It gives me an opportunity to listen to the Diane Rheam Show, so it's pretty sweet. :)
6. Is your commuting situation the result of a rational choice or a constrained choice?
A rational choice, assuming I'm rational SHUT UP HITLER I'M TYPING
7. Are you making optimal use of your resources?
No, but who is? If I were I guess I would also eat the rest of the spotted owl corpses, but alas they are kind of oily and taste a bit like rubber.
8. Would you accept a job that offers less financial compensation if it substantially reduced your commuting time and/or distance?
Yes. I took a $1.40 pay cut since gas is now twice as much as it was when I took the other job, and for some odd reason I just can't seem to figure out the oil companies keep having record profits...
It's weird, I know.
9. Are you comfortable with your current commuting situation?
Yah, that rustbucket is pretty comfortable.
10. How would you alter it? Why don't you?
I can actually bike to work and probably will do so occasionally. I also eat a lot of soy.
But then I slash and burn forests to raise cattle that I just shoot for fun and leave the bodies to rot in the sun.
