I'm bored and rereminiscing, because there isn't a lot to do on a sunday after you're recovering from 23 shots of Jose Cuervo...apparently vomiting and mild crying was involved but thats neither here, nor there. The point is that the thread about appreciating other members got me thinking about the troop of old, good ones that have stopped coming by.
3 years isn't a long time in our tangible world but on the internet it's generations, especially on sciforums. So I would like to mention some of the good ones who were interesting personalities, staples of controversey, or just warm faceless entities to interact with.
If you're reading this you old fogies come back to us.
Wesmorris - yeah he is still around but so low key it sucks.
Wesmorrisbabe - took me while to put two and two together but she was an entriely cool chick on her own.
Flores (heflores) - Assertive but a fun poster.
Tiassa - Only to simply marvel at the size of his posts
Xenu - What a fun bastard, smart and polite to boot.
Evilpoet - Always had very interesting links and a good poet.
Wellcookedfetus (pre emotional breakdown days) - Good guy, was a staple in biology forum before he went sorta crazy.
John Connellan - Another smart dude who got caught in Xev's bullshit
Bigbluerobot - awesome kid, wish she'd come back.
Wet1 - I always thought Fragglerocker was his reincarnation. They are pretty much alike. Old, Brilliant, polite and uber liberal. The supermoderator with great bedside manners.
Goofyfish - Because we need him.
Porfiry - Very smart guy, good to read from but detached from his baby.
Airavata - Cool, smart kid. Thought Pink Floyd was second coming of Jesus.
Thefountainhead - Smart albeit extremely head strong guy. Still a good guy though.
Doom - always posted the funkiest links.
Thor - He resurfaces now and again so he is long overdue for a visit.
Pollux V - pretty sharp for a 15 year old.
Rappaciani - I would love to see him and Fraggle go at it in a grammerthon.
Gendanken - Just because every forum needs one.
and one I wish would definetly return in his original glory:

Had the immaculate gift of saying in 10 words what most of us express in 100. Fiercely private, fiercely rebellious and a flirt to boot. Extremely sharp and one human being who i've known who out did google as a search engine. Seriously, he could dig up the most rarest shit.
Those who know, know that he is still around but it isn't the same, even he knows it. I still say he was unfairly banned, simply because of Xev's decietful ways and using her status with porfiry unaccordingly.
But thats the past. I just wished we could see and experience the ever ubiquitous spookz again.
There are probably more that i'm forgetting but for now I wish these guys would rejoin us.
