I've been looking everywhere for some ranking of college astronomy or astrophysics (or physics for that matter) programs, but have been unable to find any. I'm currently a junior in high school in Ohio (USA) and am starting to look at colleges. I'm really into astronomy, and want to go to a challenging school with a good program. Any suggestions?
I'm not a fan of 'league tables' that rank colleges and universities. There are, of course, establishments that everyone rates highly but better to look at the programs on offer and make your choice, taking into account location, cost, etc. Good luck, Ron.
