Does anyone here know the figures for civilian deaths as a result of war with oil... er... I mean Iraq? How many US troops? Kids? Adults?

I know that Asguard said a billion children would die. I think he's exaggerating. A billion children won't die, maybe 1,000... Or 10,000. And a bunch of kittens to. Cute kittens that the children have, and they play with them and laugh... Just those kids. So really it isn't that bad.

In the close combat of Gulf War II we can expect the term “civilian” to be loosely used. In the Vietnam War, draft-age males did not qualify as civilians, whether armed or not, and were routinely killed without a chance to surrender. For a taste of war American style, check out Ron Ridenhour’s story in Heroes of My Lai.

The casualties associated only with the invasion of Iraq will very likely be "acceptable" in historical context, certainly in the US where dead brown foreigners don't raise much empathy. I am worried that the real "death toll", that will "Let Terror Ring" will begin with the occupation, will come to our shores, and will end with the last humiliating extraction of American troops from the devastated remains of the Middle East.

    of corse i was exaggerating

but 500 000 people PLUS is a bottom estamate, if you fight house to house you could be looking 10 times that

    thats a guess

adam is really good at this

but i DO know that from just the santions over 250 000 (more than marched in melborune) and mainly children have died

    that IS a fact
